The General Secretariat of the Central Library at the University of Baghdad received recently a delegation of the Cultural Exchange Department at the Chinese Embassy in Baghdad to follow-up the progress of work and the final preparations for the inauguration of the Center for the Chinese Civilization and History that would be opened soon for all students and scholars interested in this field.
The Chinese Center would contain a collection of books that mimic the Chinese history and culture to be borrowed by the students of the University of Baghdad, in addition to many musical instruments and various educational booklets on playing music, as well as audio guides and discs for learning the Chinese language used in workshops and training courses.
