The college of physical education and sports sciences at the University of Baghdad concluded a memorandum of sports cooperation with the normalization body of the Iraqi football federation, in the presence of the head of this body Mr. Iyad Benyan, the dean of the college Dr. Sabah Qassem, the member of the normalization body Prof. Dr. Asaad Lazim and a number of professors of the college.
Mr. Iyad Benyan stated that the signing of this protocol with the college of physical education came to open up prospects of mutual cooperation to provide support to all national teams in the country in terms of supplies, stadiums, fitness halls and laboratories, adding that they focus on supporting football game in particular and its presence in international forums, and concluded that there are several important terms in the memorandum, including hosting Asian training courses for fitness trainers and goalkeepers, as well as providing a stadium and a special classroom equipped with all the needed requirements to host festivals for young Asian elite.
