Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, rector of the University of Baghdad has visited lately the college of science, accompanied by his assistants for scientific and administrative affairs, to supervise the conduct of final examinations and the level of commitment to health and preventive measures in light of the outbreak of Delta Variant of Covid-19. The rector and his entourage were received by the dean of the college Prof. Dr. Abdul Karim al-Qazzaz who confirmed the early preparations for final examinations, namely the sterilization of classrooms and all college corridors in commitment to the instructions and resolutions of the High Committee for Health Safety in Iraq.
It is noteworthy that the rector has followed up a number of virtual examinations taking place at the department of biology via an online platform, where the members of the exam committee provided a full explanation of all the technical procedures adopted to perform virtual exams in a high flow and other related logistical details that preceded exams. It is noteworthy that the rector called on students to take vaccines at the Health Center of the University of Baghdad, since at the onset of the next academic year, students are supposed to have vaccination certificates or a Covid-19 test to ensure their safety from any infection on a weekly basis.
