Iraqi Journal of Agricultural Sciences issued by the college of agriculture at University of Baghdad has officially entered the Scopus database in its updated version of October 2017 which is the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature. Associate Rector for scientific affairs, Assistant Prof. Dr. Osama Fadel Abdul Latif stated that the academic journals of University of Baghdad are on their way towards globalization and that this new achievement will lead to an increase in the number of global citations for Iraqi researchers that would in turn raise the H index of University of Baghdad in world rankings.
