Prof. Dr. Muhammad Saleh al-Jawad and the Lecturer Dr. Dalia Abdel Hadi Abdul Latif from the college of engineering have received certificates of appreciation from the Secretary-General of the Association of the Colleges of Engineering, and a member of the Association of Arab Universities (AArU), Prof. Dr. Saba Jabbar Nehmeh and dean of the college. They have co-authored a joint research paper entitled: (Immiscible CO2-Assisted Gravity Drainage Process for Enhancing Oil Recovery in Bottom Water Drive reservoir) that was published in the Journal of Association of Arab Universities of Engineering Sciences and won the first place in a scientific competition for the best scientific research 2020.
