A ministerial committee from the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority and the Department of Studies, Planning and Follow-up at the ministry of higher education and scientific research visited on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 the student housing complex for female students in Jadriyah. The members met the director of dormitories at the presidency of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Omar Faleh Hassan and the trustee of the complex, Mrs. Zainab Sahib. Dr. Omar Faleh gave a full explanation about the application of the instructions defined by the supervisory authority during the first semester examinations for undergraduate and postgraduate studies in light of the spread of Covid-19 pandemic and the need to commitment to the measures of social distancing to ensure the safety of our dear students.
The he discussed the health plans conducted by the department for the sake of housing students coming from different Iraqi provinces and confirmed that there are continued sterilization campaigns at all housing complexes in Baghdad, with the provision of all services, including electrical and internet equipment. At the end of the visit, the members of the ministerial committee expressed their appreciation and thanks to the sincere efforts of director and staff of the dormitories department for the common good.
