Dr. Omar Faleh Hassan, a professor from the department of petroleum engineering at the University of Baghdad was selected as a member of the editorial board of Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference sponsored by the Society of Petroleum Engineers which is the biggest conference of its kind in the Middle East to be held from (15-18) November 2021. It is noteworthy that this is the second time that Dr. Omar Faleh is elected for membership in this forum based on an invitation from the chairman of the society Prof. Thomas A. Blasingame, professor of petroleum engineering at Texas A&M University Engineering.
During the conference, 115 scientific sessions will be held to discuss researches in the presence of more than 11,000 professionals in oil industry and Dr. Omar Faleh’s work will be part of the Non-Traditional Oil and Gas Reservoir Research Committee. This is considered as an important participation of the University of Baghdad as being the only Iraqi university to participate in this exhibition this year.
