The continuing education unit, in collaboration with the student activities unit at the college of science for women sponsored a virtual training course on “Body Sculpting” presented by Dr. Najat Baqir Mashkur, head of the student activities unit via Google Classroom service that lasted for 4 days. The course aimed to discuss this technique used for achieving ideal body through targeted exercise and a proper diet depending on personal preference following a significant loss of weight and it is done by removing body sagging skin and improving the shape of the internal tissues to attain a better appearance with a more consistent and flexible form.

The lecturer also showed that the age groups allowed to perform body sculpting are those of a fixed weight and the non-smoking adults that do not have any chronic diseases, adding that there are two types of body contouring: the first is the normal type that do not use any devices except body massage to stimulate blood circulation, while the other one has several options such as injection or the use of infrared radiation (IR), pointing out the need to do cardio plank exercises and the use of the circular disc regularly, in addition to commitment to a balanced diet that contributes significantly to weight stabilization or gradual loss to prevent significant sagging that distorts body coordination.
