Prof. Dr. Heba Mohammed Abdul Wahid, a professor from the national leading center for cancer research at the University of Baghdad has participated in the proceedings of the 18th scientific conference sponsored by the college of medicine under the slogan “Quality, Tender and Pioneering” through a research paper entitled (Comparison between Mammography and Sonar System used for breast cancer detection for a sample of Iraqi women).
In this study, the researcher addressed the accuracy and sensitivity of breast sonar that outweighs the Mammography rays when testing the dense breast tissue. It is worth mentioning that this event marked a wide participation of professors, specialists, researchers and students from inside and outside Iraq as well as many clinical and laboratory workshops.
