Assist. Prof. Dr. Sajid Kazim al-Kindi, a professor from the department of architecture at the college of engineering won recently Hisham Munir Excellence Award for supervising the Iraqi graduation projects in 2019.
The winners were selected from (908) participants representing (151) universities from (64) countries and the top 10 submissions were selected based upon certain criteria, highlighting ambitious and transformative projects that address local challenges according to the artistic context.
It is noteworthy that this award is part of the seven-category excellence awards program which supports and celebrates architectural masterpieces from the Near East, North Africa and elsewhere in the fields of urban & landscape design, urban planning and technology.
