Dr. Sundus Mohsen Hamidi, a professor from the college of Islamic sciences at the University of Baghdad has participated recently in the second annual international creativity conference held in Tunisia under the slogan “Creative Nations Make Eternity” in collaboration with the Tunisian Association for Human Development and Training with a research paper entitled “The Arab poet as a critical reader” which dealt with how the Arab poet reads his creative text as others do.

This research focused on very important issues such as the disturbing reading (represented by the yearbooks) and the interpretive reading ( represented by Ibn Arabi’s reading book “Tarjumán al-ashwáq” and the ascetic poetry of Ibn Abd Rabbih al-Andalusi as models) which won the admiration of the participants. It is noteworthy that Dr. Sundus Mohsen was honored with a book of thanks and appreciation and the medal of creativity by the Iraqi Inventors & Innovators Society (IIIS) in Baghdad for her scientific achievements.
