Prof. Dr. Imad Hussein Marza Al Husseini, Rector of the University of Baghdad chaired an extensive meeting with the directors of the university’s research centers in the presence of his associates for administrative and scientific affairs, Prof. Dr. Hussein Hameed Kareem and Assist. Prof. Dr. Osama Fadel Abdul Latif, respectively.
Al-Husseini stressed that the research centers established in universities are basically working on developing the research aspect to obtain reliability according to the number of published researches, so there is an urgent need to raise the professors’ behavior and ethics in order to upgrade the Iraqi scientific research, stressing the need to pay attention to job descriptions in all research and administrative joints.
On the sidelines of the meeting, the Rector directed to form a committee headed by Assist. Prof. Dr. Osama Fadel Abdul Latif and the membership of a number of directors of centers in this regard to identify the problems and obstacles faced by the research center in completion of their administrative work.
