For the second year respectively, The University of Baghdad entered the British Times Ranking in its 16th version for 2020 by achieving the (801-1000) rank out of (1396). It is noteworthy that 1800 universities were evaluated from (92) countries with (138) new ranked universities compared to the last release.
This achievement is in line with the basic objective adhered by the ministry of higher education and scientific research, i.e., the entry of Iraqi universities into international rankings as an indicator of the quality of higher education in our country and as implementation of the strategic plan for (2018-2022). Also this new release included the entry of the University of Technology for the first time in this competition.
