Assistant Prof. Dr. Siham al-Shijiri from the college of media at the University of Baghdad has participated recently in the Second International Child Conference held in Amman, Jordan under the slogan “Education as a right for all”.
She presented a research paper entitled (media rationalization of education in the light of modern technology) that addressed the topic of media rationalization as a support for knowledge and culture which is the core of a major debate in various directions and theories nowadays and how can media assist in the process of the development of education. The researcher reached at many conclusions, including the unregulated educational mess that faces university students, the prevailing worn-out teaching methods as well as the lack of social actors in the educational system in the Arab world as in the West.
