The University of Baghdad has achieved recently a new advance in the latest version of Webometrics Ranking of World Universities issued by Cybermetrics Lab by getting the (2533) rank to be in the second place in Iraq while its previous rank was (3692) at the beginning of 2019.
According to the number of research citations indexed within Google Scholar and issued by the same organization, the number of citations (for the 100 most cited researchers) has increased from (10540) to (24167).
