Mr. Salah Zgheib, a UN expert in agriculture and livelihood development from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has visited lately the college of agricultural engineering at the University of Baghdad and was received by the dean of the college Prof. Dr. Shaker Abdul Amir al-Attar and his associate for scientific affairs Dr. Salman Khalaf Issa.
During the meeting, Dr. Shaker Abdul Amir addressed matters related to the college’s laboratories and possible cooperation and coordination between the two sides in agricultural researches in Iraq at the long-term.
It is noteworthy that UNDP program is a global development network of the United Nations that aims to support change and connect countries with knowledge, experience and resources, help people build a better life, find solutions to face the challenges of local and global development as well as to eradicate poverty and reduce inequalities through the sustainable development of nations.
