University of Baghdad President Explores Scientific Cooperation with Dar Alhikma

University President Professor Dr. Alaa Abdul Hassan Al-Zughaybi visited Dr. Naeem Al-Oboudi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Dar Alhikma, to congratulate him on assuming his new role and to discuss avenues for strengthening collaboration between the two institutions. The dialogue focused on advancing joint efforts in scientific research, organizing conferences, seminars, and intellectual and cultural events, all aimed at supporting the trajectory of higher education and research in Iraq.

The meeting was attended by the Scientific Assistant to the President, Professor Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah, and the Administrative Assistant to the President, Professor Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq Al-Hashimi. Both sides underscored the importance of expanding academic partnerships and exchanging expertise to enrich the research environment.

Dr. Al-Zughaybi reaffirmed the University of Baghdad’s commitment to deepening cooperation with the House of Wisdom, praising its role in supporting research and enriching Iraq’s cultural and intellectual landscape. He emphasized that such collaboration fosters integration between academic and research institutions, advancing the nation’s scholarly and cultural development.
