Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, has announced the central admission results for the College of Excellence and the College of Artificial Intelligence at the University of Baghdad for the academic year 2025–2026.
He affirmed that the establishment of these two colleges represents a qualitative addition to the higher education system, and that the admission results reflect a high level of competitiveness. One-third of admitted students to the College of Artificial Intelligence achieved scores of 98% or higher, while the minimum admission thresholds for its departments were as follows:
- Big Data: 96.86%
- Biomedical Applications: 96.71%
- Engineering Applications: 96.49%
The College of Excellence attracted high scores ranging between 99%, 98%, and 97%. The minimum thresholds for its departments from the scientific branch were:
- Data Science: 94.14%
- Applied Information Systems: 93.57%
- Business Administration and E-Commerce: 92.90%
- Accounting and Banking: 92.49%
- Philosophy and Sociology: 85.71%
From the literary branch, the minimum thresholds were:
- Business Administration and E-Commerce: 88.71%
- Accounting and Banking: 86.29%
- Philosophy and Sociology: 85.29%
