As part of the field follow-up on university projects, Prof.Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq Al-Hashemi, Vice President for Administrative Affairs, conducted an inspection visit to the construction site of the Colleges of Excellence and Artificial Intelligence to review the completion rates and preparations underway for the start of the new academic year.
The visit included monitoring the furnishing of classrooms, laboratories, and administrative offices, as well as inspecting the installation of air conditioning systems and the provision of technical and logistical requirements efforts that contribute to creating a modern educational environment aligned with the demands of advanced study in artificial intelligence disciplines.
Prof.Dr. Al-Hashemi confirmed that the overall completion rate has reached approximately 80%, emphasizing the need to complete the remaining work according to the set timeline and in line with the quality standards adopted in higher education. He noted that the project represents a significant step within the university’s strategy to enhance its infrastructure and expand its specialized academic programs.
Prof.Dr. Al-Hashemi praised the efforts of the engineering and administrative teams, pointing out that the Colleges of Excellence and Artificial Intelligence will serve as key pillars in achieving a true digital transformation that supports the knowledge economy in Iraq.
This activity contributes to several Sustainable Development Goals, particularly: Goal 4: Quality Education, Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
