Assistant Lecturer Yasser Ahmed Mohammed, a faculty member at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Baghdad, represented Iraq in a workshop titled “Basketball Game Manager” organized by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA). The workshop was held on the sidelines of the Women’s Asia Cup Championship and lasted for two days in Shenzhen, China, with the participation of representatives from various national federations.

The workshop aimed to develop the skills of game managers and enhance organizational and administrative aspects in accordance with the latest standards adopted by FIBA. It included intensive lectures and practical sessions focused on managing international games, handling various in-arena scenarios, and organizing teams and working committees.

This participation contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
