Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Allak from the College of Nursing at the University of Baghdad has been appointed as a peer reviewer for the internationally renowned journal Patient Education and Counseling, published by Elsevier.

The journal is dedicated to advancing nursing and health education through the publication of scientific articles by researchers from around the world. It is ranked in the top quartile (Q1) in both Scopus and Clarivate indexing systems, signifying its global academic standing.

Dr. Allak was chosen for this role due to his extensive scientific expertise and significant contributions to the field of academic research. He holds an impressive record of publications in prestigious peer-reviewed journals and serves on the editorial boards of multiple international and national journals, including the Iraqi National Journal of Nursing Specialties.

This recognition adds to the growing list of achievements of the College of Nursing, which has gained international ranking thanks to the high quality of its faculty’s research, global collaborations, academic reputation, and the high citation rate of its published work. These accomplishments underline the college’s commitment to solidifying its position as one of the leading academic institutions in the region.
