A delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research visited the construction site of the Artificial Intelligence and Excellence Colleges at the University of Baghdad to review the progress of the project. The delegation was led by Dr. Abbas Fadel, Director General of Reconstruction and Projects at the ministry, and was received by Professor Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, President of the University of Baghdad, and Professor Dr. Hatem Khalifa, Director of Reconstruction and Projects at the university.
During the visit, the delegation received a detailed briefing from supervising engineers on the completion rates of both civil and technological works. The engineers confirmed that the project is proceeding according to the approved timelines. The university administration expressed appreciation for the continued support from the ministry and reaffirmed its commitment to providing an advanced educational environment that meets international standards and contributes to achieving sustainable development goals.
This project is considered a significant initiative aimed at enhancing the higher education infrastructure in Iraq while promoting modern specializations in artificial intelligence and distinguished academic programs.
The ongoing support for this project aligns with two Sustainable Development Goals: Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities).
