Professor Dr. Raghed Abdul Razzaq Al-Hashemi, Assistant President of the University of Baghdad for Administrative Affairs, inspected the progress of rehabilitation and reconstruction work in the Jadriya Complex as part of ongoing efforts to develop the university’s infrastructure in preparation for the 2025–2026 academic year.

The field visit included monitoring the completion stages of the College of Excellence and the College of Artificial Intelligence buildings, in addition to the Central Library and the Martyr Al-Hakim Hall. Dr. Al-Hashemi emphasized the importance of adhering to specified timelines and ensuring high-quality execution in accordance with the highest engineering standards, contributing to the establishment of a modern and advanced educational environment.

This visit reflects the university administration’s commitment to overseeing vital projects that strengthen the University of Baghdad’s status as a leading academic institution while keeping pace with scientific and technological advancements across various fields.

It is worth noting that the inauguration of the College of Excellence and the College of Artificial Intelligence represents a strategic step toward enhancing specialized academic programs and meeting the needs of both local and international markets in the fields of applied information and artificial intelligence.

Additionally, this visit supports two key Sustainable Development Goals: Goal 4, which aims to ensure quality education, and Goal 11, which focuses on sustainable cities and communities.
