The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Law, University of Baghdad, organized a workshop titled “Digital Transformation of E-Government in Iraq,” presented by Lecturer Heba Naima Mansour.
The event aimed to highlight the benefits and services provided by digital transformation, as well as to discuss the key challenges facing e-government in Iraq. The workshop recommended the need to strengthen the foundations of the digital economy to achieve a fundamental transformation in digital technological infrastructure. It also emphasized the importance of adopting digital creativity and innovation in education, through the launch of a digital literacy program that enables citizens to fully benefit from digital transformation by providing advanced electronic services in public facilities and investment.
This activity contributes to achieving one of the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 8, which advocates for decent work and economic growth, as well as Goal 16, which calls for peace, justice, and strong institution.
