The University of Baghdad team was crowned champions of the Iraqi Universities Tennis Championship, which was held at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences courts. The tournament saw participation from teams representing various Iraqi universities and was attended by Prof.Dr. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, Dean of the College, Dr. Hassanein Al-Shadidi, Director of Student Activities at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Dr. Ali Sadiq, Director of Student Activities at the University.
The University of Baghdad athletes delivered an outstanding performance throughout the tournament, winning all their matches and securing the first-place title with well-deserved distinction.
The Director of Student Activities at the university praised the team’s remarkable performance and reaffirmed the University President’s ongoing support for sports activities, encouraging students to actively participate in such events.
