The University of Baghdad, represented by its president, Prof. Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, representing His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, and the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah, participated in the conference of the Iraqi Society for Statistical Sciences on statistical applications, which was held under the slogan (Statistics and the Digital Future: Modern Methodologies in Data Analysis).
During his speech at the conference, the President of the University of Baghdad stressed the importance of exchanging ideas and information between researchers and specialists in the field of statistics, pointing out that this event represents an ideal opportunity for optimal investment of scientific capabilities and enhancing the role of academic research in achieving sustainable development.
Ansaf stressed the need to employ modern statistical methodologies in data analysis to keep pace with digital development and support academic institutions in the fields of research and development.
The conference witnessed wide participation of academics and specialized researchers, where they discussed the latest trends and technologies in statistics and their applications in various fields, which enhanced the integration between scientific research and development requirements.
