The Central Scientific Promotions Committee at the Presidency of the University of Baghdad held its tenth session for the 2024-2025 academic year to discuss various issues related to scientific promotions. The session was chaired by Prof.Dr. Faihaa Abdullah Yaqoub, Head of the Scientific Promotions Committee, with the participation of Prof.Dr. Mohsen Abdullah Al-Shammari, Head of the Scientific Promotions Affairs Division, along with all committee members.
During the session, several matters concerning academic ranks were discussed, including 21 applications for the rank of professor, seven applications for the rank of associate professor, and eight applications for the rank of lecturer, in addition to reviewing ten other cases related to scientific promotions.
