The Dean of the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences at the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Amira Muhammad Saleh, received a delegation from Salahaddin University / Erbil to discuss the promotion of scientific cooperation between the two countries.
The visit aimed to benefit from the experience of the University of Baghdad in supporting the process of scientific research through cooperation with Salahaddin University / Erbil to establish the first international conference tagged (Action to confront climate change/challenges and solutions).
It was agreed to publish part of the scientific research submitted to the conference in the Iraqi Journal of Agricultural Sciences because it is among the Iraqi scientific journals indexed within Scopus.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shaker Al-Khashali, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Graduate Studies, and Prof. Dr. Fadel Younis Bektaş, Editor-in-Chief of the Agricultural Journal at the College.
This visit achieves one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) represented by the fourth, ninth, and thirteenth goals, which call for quality education, industry, innovation, infrastructure as well as climate action.
