The Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Nursing at the University of Baghdad organized a scientific symposium entitled “Overactive Bladder in Women”, delivered by Dr. Noha Adel Ibrahim and attended by a number of college female affiliates.

The seminar aimed to familiarize participants with overactive bladder and its causes, as well as treatment methods that reduce or treat this condition.

The symposium addressed the symptoms and signs associated with an overactive bladder and explained available treatment methods, including muscle-strengthening exercises to reduce bedwetting.

The seminar recommended the importance of identifying the symptoms and causes associated with this condition in women and going to hospitals to take advantage of the available treatment methods.

This symposium achieved one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the third goal, which aims to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all ages.
