The College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad held the seventeenth scientific graduate studies conference, under the slogan (The Role of Scientific Research in the Development of Societies), under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq Al-Hashemi, and in the presence of the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Amir Faisal Abdul Amir, representing the President of the University of Baghdad, a number of deans of colleges and a group of doctors and researchers.
The conference aimed to raise the scientific and research aspects of dentistry to the highest standards of leadership, quality, and academic excellence while activating the role of scientific research in the development of societies, as well as presenting the latest scientific products for graduate students.
In his speech, the Dean of the College stressed that the College is working and focusing on achieving sustainable development and enhancing the quality of health services in the field of dentistry and continuing to hold such conferences to enhance communication and interaction between researchers and specialists of graduate students in the college.
The Assistant President for Administrative Affairs also praised the college’s distinguished achievements in the field of scientific research, addressing the college’s ancient history and contributions to community service, stressing that this conference is a platform that brings together creative minds to present research that contributes to the development of this field, as well as the achievements made by the University of Baghdad, which are the result of dedication and hard work of its distinguished academic staff and ambitious students.
This conference comes within a series of activities of the college, and is an effective step for all dental researchers from different parts of the world to provide research that contributes to the development of science in this field.
