A number of teachers at the College of Engineering, Department of Computer Engineering, University of Baghdad, have published new scientific research in the prestigious international journal IEEE Access, issued by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). This is part of the College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad’s efforts to enhance its academic position globally through the publication of sober scientific research.
Prof. Dr. Sadiq Habib Abdul Hussein, Assistant Professor Dr. Bashira Muhammad Reda Mahmoud, Assistant Professor Ahlam Shanin Al-Sudani, Teacher Marwa Nasser Abdul Razzaq, and Assistant Lecturer Hala Jassim Muhammad participated in preparing the research in cooperation with other researchers from inside and outside Iraq.
“Patient Monitoring System Based on Internet of Things: A Review and Related Challenges with Open Research Issues”. The research focused on reviewing IoT applications in healthcare systems while providing a comprehensive review of current challenges and future research opportunities in this vital field.
It is noteworthy that the “IEEE Access” journal is one of the international journals classified in the “Scopus” and “Clarivate” containers, and it has a high impact factor of 9.8 in the “Scopus” rankings and 4 in the “WOS” classifications, which reflects the importance of the research and its scientific value.
