The University of Baghdad, with all its staff and affiliates, mourned the martyrdom of Hezbollah leader Sayyid Mujahid Hassan Nasrallah, a martyr, a heroic, courageous, wise and believing leader, joining the convoy of the eternal martyrs of Karbala in the footsteps of the martyrs prophets and imams, condoling our the patient and Mujahid brothers in Lebanon, the entire Islamic nation, the free and all the vulnerable in the world, with this painful injury.
University presidency organized a vigil in mourning for the martyr Hassan Nasrallah, during which the President of the University, Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, gave a speech in which he expressed the university’s condemnation and denunciation of this Zionist crime, calling for solidarity with the brotherly Lebanese people and providing support to them.
It is noteworthy that the University of Baghdad had previously organized a solidarity stand in protest against the brutal Zionist aggression against the Lebanese people, in which slogans expressing Arab and Islamic unity were raised, and the need to stand united in the face of Zionist aggression.
