Prof. Dr. Ammar Bassem Al-Yasiri, Professor of Islamic Law at the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Baghdad, participated in the First International Conference on Media Research in the Western Black Sea, held by the Turkish University of Zhanguldaq.
The research dealt with the role of the media in promoting human values and spreading peace and rejection of racism, based on tolerant Islamic teachings. The research also discussed the contexts of the Holy Quran in the field of communication and media, stressing the importance of using the media responsibly to serve humanity.
The research was highly appreciated by the conference participants for its insight into the topic of media responsibility in Islam. The attendees praised Dr. Al-Yasiri’s method of research, and his clear way of communicating his ideas.
