Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, rector of the University of Baghdad has recently visited the Student Housing Complex of the college of veterinary medicine, accompanied by the director of the dormitories, Prof. Dr. Omar Faleh Hassan, with the aim to follow-up the progress of the reconstruction campaign that has previously started there and the quality of services provided for undergraduate and postgraduate students in general.
For his part, the rector praised the nature of work and the procedures adopted in this regard based on the determined specifications, also he thanked the sincere efforts exerted by the technical staff to improve the living situation at student apartments even during late hours of the night so as to complete the work as quickly as possible, in conjunction with receiving the first stage students admitted this year. Dr. Munir al-Saadi also met a number of the resident students there who expressed their satisfaction with the services provided, the level of hygiene and sterilization, providing electricity, as well as expressing their gratitude for semi-daily visits made by the rector and some officials to inspect their situation.
