The President of the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Alaa Abdul Hassan Al-Zughaybi, conducted a field tour of the dormitory facilities in the Abu Ghraib complex to review the living and service conditions of the students and to monitor the quality of services provided to them.
During his tour, the University President inspected the student housing facilities, including rooms, health services, dining areas, as well as administrative and service-related aspects. He listened to the students’ remarks and needs, emphasizing the importance of providing a suitable residential environment that supports their academic journey.
The President of the University of Baghdad directed that efforts be intensified to improve the level of services within the dormitories and to establish a comprehensive university environment that takes into account the students’ living and psychological needs.
Dr. Al-Zughaybi stressed the importance of continuous follow-up by the dormitory administrations and the necessity of promptly meeting students’ requirements. He noted that the university is committed to developing its services in line with educational quality standards and modern practices in managing student housing.
This initiative contributes to achieving several Sustainable Development Goals, namely Goal 4 (Quality Education), Goal 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
