With the presence of the President of the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Alaa Abdul Hassan Al-Zughaybi, and the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq Al-Hashemi, the mother university organized a special celebration on the occasion of World Children’s Day through the Department of Student Activities, under the slogan: “Children of Today… Hope of Tomorrow and Builders of the Future.”
The celebration featured the Kids Athletics event, which included stations of track and field games for children, along with competitions and recreational activities designed to foster teamwork and bring joy to the children. The event witnessed wide interaction from faculty members, students, and parents.
At the conclusion of the celebration, the President of the University of Baghdad honored the participating children by distributing gifts and certificates of appreciation, affirming the university’s dedication to supporting childhood and nurturing emerging talents.
This activity contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
