A new book titled “International Air Law for Aeronautical Engineers” has been published by Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Tawfiq Mustafa, a faculty member in the Department of Aeronautical Engineering at the College of Engineering – University of Baghdad. The book was released by Al-Dar Al-Jamia Publishing House in 2025 as part of efforts to support academic advancement and promote scientific output.
The book comprises 187 pages divided into six main chapters, covering specialized scientific topics including: history and development, recent advancements, international and local organizations, civil aviation laws and standards, aircraft registration, and airworthiness.
The book aims to provide aeronautical engineering students, researchers, and interested readers with essential legal knowledge related to civil aviation and its international regulations. It contributes to a deeper understanding of the legislative and regulatory framework of this vital sector and helps prepare engineering professionals capable of addressing air safety requirements in accordance with international standards.
This academic endeavor supports one of the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 4: Quality Education.
