The summer training program aimed at enhancing student skills in Basra Province has concluded, with participation from third-year students of the Petroleum Engineering Department at the College of Engineering – University of Baghdad. The program, part of the STARTUP EXCHANGE PROGRAM, lasted for one month and combined field training in oil fields with academic knowledge, involving students from several Iraqi universities.
Representing the College of Engineering at the closing ceremony was the Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Faleh Hassan Mohammed, on behalf of the Dean, during the scientific competition day and the graduation ceremony of the institution’s seventh season.
The Mishwar Foundation for Training and Development praised the active role of the College of Engineering in supporting students and enabling their distinguished participation, which contributed to the success of the summer program and the achievement of its developmental goals.
This initiative supports one of the Sustainable Development Goals, namely Goal 4: Quality Education.
