The Ministerial Preparatory Committee for the Erasmus Conference held its preparatory meeting at the University of Baghdad in anticipation of the upcoming conference events, which will commence next Monday in Al-Hakim Hall and continue on Tuesday at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences.
The meeting was chaired by Professor Dr. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, and attended by Dr. Mowafaq Sajet, Director of the Organizations Department at the Ministry of Higher Education; Dr. Ali Abdul Hassan, Director of the Office of the President of the University of Baghdad; Dr. Ali Sadiq Thiyab, Director of the Student Activities Department; Dr. Hassan Ali, Director of the Administrative Affairs Department; Mr. Issam Al-Atabi, Director of the University Monitoring Department; along with several members of the preparatory committee.
During the meeting, key organizational and logistical aspects of the conference were discussed, in addition to coordinating the event schedule and distributing responsibilities to ensure the success of the conference in a manner that reflects the stature of the University of Baghdad and Iraqi academic institutions in international cooperation programs.
This initiative contributes to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 17, which advocates for partnerships to realize global objectives.
