The University of Baghdad Council held its nineteenth open session, attended by the University President, Prof.Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, along with several deans and administrative officials. The session addressed a series of directives and measures aimed at improving the university environment and enhancing academic and administrative performance.
At the outset of the session, the University President directed the Reconstruction and Projects Department to submit a detailed report on the ongoing renovation work at the Central Library. The report is to include a video showcasing the approved designs and the completed stages of implementation, reflecting the university’s commitment to closely monitor critical projects and ensure their execution in accordance with required standards.

The Council also issued a directive to all college and institute deans to require faculty members to visibly post their weekly schedules and office hours on their office doors. This measure is intended to improve communication between students and faculty and facilitate a smoother educational process.

The Council proceeded to discuss other items on the agenda, covering various topics related to academic and administrative development. This session is part of the university administration’s ongoing efforts to enhance performance quality and achieve the highest levels of organization and engagement on campus.

This initiative contributes to two Sustainable Development Goals: Goal 4, Quality Education, and Goal 11, Sustainable Cities and Communities.
