The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Baghdad organized a training course entitled “Effective Strategies to Promote Culture and Combat Corruption”, as part of its efforts to spread awareness of the importance of culture in confronting corruption and promoting the values of integrity and transparency.

The course, in which Eng. Enas Mohamed Radi lectured, dealt with the concept of culture and its importance in building societies, the relationship between culture and corruption, strategies to promote a positive culture to combat corruption, in addition to the role of educational and cultural institutions in spreading awareness of the importance of integrity.

The course witnessed great interaction among the participants, where many questions and discussions were asked about how to implement the strategies presented on the ground.

At the end of the course, the Dean of the College, Prof. Nima Dahsh Farhan, stressed the importance of this course in contributing to anti-corruption efforts, pointing out that the college strives to spread awareness of the importance of integrity and transparency in society.

This session achieves one of the sustainable development goals represented by the sixteenth goal, which calls for peace, justice, and strong institutions.
