The Department of Architecture, College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad , in collaboration with the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, organized its annual charity bazaar with enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members.
The event aimed to promote humanitarian values and social solidarity among students by raising funds to support children battling cancer. The bazaar was inaugurated by Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Ghassan Hamid Eid Al-Majid, in the presence of Scientific Assistant Prof. Dr. Dhyaa Jassim and Administrative Assistant for Student Affairs Prof. Dr. Wameedh Nizar. The bazaar featured a variety of handcrafted items, artistic designs, and creative works presented by students and professors, reflecting a spirit of generosity and community engagement.
In his speech, the Dean highlighted the importance of student-led initiatives in fostering social responsibility and commended the organizers for their dedication to humanitarian causes. The event received significant attention from students and faculty, underscoring the college’s commitment to promoting volunteerism and community awareness.
