The President of the University of Baghdad, Prof.Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, officially inaugurated the Media Follow-up Unit at the Media and Government Communication Department located in the Bab Al-Muadhim Campus. The inauguration ceremony was supported by the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Prof.Dr. Sarmad Hashem Al-Khatib, and the Director of the Media and Government Communication Department, Dr. Harith Mohammed Ibrahim.
The newly established unit aims to strengthen the role of university media in covering the university’s activities, showcasing its achievements, and providing support to media departments and units within the Bab Al-Muadhim Campus and its affiliated institutions. This includes coverage of conferences, seminars, workshops, lectures, and research projects, as well as preparing news reports and press releases.
During the inauguration, the President of the University praised the significance of media in conveying the university’s message to the public, highlighting that the new unit will contribute to enhancing the university’s media efforts.
The University of Baghdad is dedicated to advancing its media operations by establishing specialized media units, training personnel in this field, and equipping them with the latest technologies and tools.
