The College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, organized an awareness seminar in cooperation with the Police College entitled (Introduction and Concepts of Cybersecurity and Friends of the Interior / the War of Rumors and its Impact on National Security), under the auspices of the Deanship of the College of Medicine, and in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Basil Ismail, and a number of college students and affiliates, this comes within the framework of institutional cooperation by the goals of sustainable development.
The seminar aimed to raise awareness of cybersecurity for individuals and institutions in light of the war of rumors and the widespread use of Internet networks.
The themes of the seminar presented by Colonel Ammar Hussein included the definition of cybercrime, its types, objectives, tools, and forms, exposure to cases of electronic extortion, and how to deal with blackmailers. The symposium also defined cybersecurity and its types, and cybercrime and its types.
