The Field Application Committee at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women, University of Baghdad, under the supervision of the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs and member of the scout troupe, Prof. Dr. Naima Zaidan Khalaf, organized a workshop for students of the fourth stage entitled (Ceremony of Raising the Iraqi Flag).

The workshop aimed to hone their talents academically to work as a physical education teacher, as well as to develop the skills acquired during their participation in scout teams. The workshop included an introduction to the decrees of raising the flag, the method of standing, raising, and lowering it, folding it, and tying it to the mast.

For her part, the Dean of the College praised the efforts made by the Application Committee for their work in the field application of the decrees of raising the flag for students and training them on how to perform them correctly in schools during the period of their field application and their achievement of the theoretical and practical aspects that they studied and to confirm the correct personal and social concepts.

This workshop achieves one of the sustainable development goals represented by the fourth and sixteenth goals of quality education, peace, justice, and strong institutions.
