The Higher Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies at the University of Baghdad organized a workshop titled “The Knowledge Foundations of Using Statistical Methods in Accounting Research.” The workshop was conducted by Assist.Prof.Dr. Mahmoud Ismail Mohammed, a faculty member at the institute, under the supervision of the Dean of the Institute, Assist.Prof.Dr. Ali Mohammed Thjeel Al-Mamouri, a certified public accountant. The event was attended by a number of faculty members and postgraduate students.

The event aimed to enhance the applied professional academic library for faculty and postgraduate students by providing insights into accessing and analyzing digital survey forms designed for accounting research. It focused on applying both general and specialized statistical methods to interpret research findings, validate research hypotheses, and analyze accounting phenomena.

This activity aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 8, which emphasizes promoting inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment, and decent work for all.
