The College of Islamic Sciences organized an interactive workshop on Sustainable Development, bringing together a group of academics and students interested in discussing the role of universities in general and the college’s students in particular in achieving sustainable development goals.

The event, led by Dr. Riam Qasim, Dr. Rowa Shaiker, and Assist.Lecturer Saja Hussein, focused on highlighting the importance of youth in building a sustainable future. The session showcased several successful student initiatives and projects that contribute to achieving sustainable development goals at both local and global levels.

Participants in the workshop praised the topics covered, emphasizing the importance of organizing such events regularly, as they have a positive impact in encouraging students to engage in volunteer work and community initiatives.
