The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Baghdad received a delegation from the Zayn al-Abidin Foundation for Research and Studies, affiliated with the Holy Al-Hussein Shrine, in a step toward enhancing scientific and cultural exchange. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Prof.Dr. Arkan Raheem Jaber, the College’s Administrative Affairs Assistant Dean.
During the meeting, the two parties discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in the fields of scientific research, exchange of expertise, and the organization of joint seminars and conferences. They also touched on the importance of combined efforts to promote authentic Islamic thought and address the challenges facing the Islamic nation.
Dr. Jaber emphasized the significance of the meeting, noting that the College of Islamic Sciences is eager to build bridges of cooperation with various scientific and cultural institutions to support the academic journey and enrich Islamic knowledge.
For his part, Dr. Mustafa Al-Ibrahimi, the head of the delegation, expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and reaffirmed the Zayn al-Abidin Foundation’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Baghdad due to its prominent academic standing.
This meeting is part of the ongoing efforts by the University of Baghdad to develop scientific research and open up to various academic and cultural institutions, aiming to serve the community and contribute to shaping a generation capable of facing the challenges of the modern era.
