The Department of Physics Sciences, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, held a scientific workshop entitled (Physical and Electrical Therapy by EMS Electric Massager).

The workshop aimed to shed light on the technique of physical therapy, which is a set of therapeutic methods that aim to improve body movement, strengthen muscles, relieve pain, and promote healing after injuries or surgery. Physical therapy uses a range of various tools and techniques, such as therapeutic exercises to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and motor functions, heat and cold therapy to relieve muscle spasms or to expand blood vessels, to reduce inflammation and pain after acute injuries, and electrical stimulation (EMS) to improve muscle function and alleviate Pain. Ultrasound therapy stimulates deep tissues and improves blood circulation, helping to heal the affected tissue.

in conclusion, the workshop stressed that physical therapy has become an effective way to treat many conditions, such as back pain, and muscle and joint injuries. Each patient needs a customized treatment plan based on his health condition and therapist’s recommendations.
