The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Baghdad organized a scientific dialogue symposium addressing the phenomenon of intellectual extremism, its causes, objectives, and methods of prevention.

The seminar featured Dr. Dhahir Fayadh and Dr. Shakir Jadaan as keynote speakers and included intensive discussion sessions exploring the intellectual roots of extremism, the role of media and social networks in its spread, and an overview of global experiences in combating this deviant ideology.

At the conclusion of the symposium, several key recommendations were proposed, including enhancing interfaith and intercultural dialogue, reforming educational curricula to promote the values of tolerance and moderation, and strengthening the role of religious institutions in raising awareness about the dangers of extremism.
